Keyword Traffic Estimator

Our keyword traffic estimate service is designed to give business website owners an overview of roughly how many searches are made per month for specific keywords.

In other words, it gives you a very broad estimate of how much traffic you might expect to get if your site ranks highly for a collection of targetted keywords on Google.

This information is VITAL to a website owner for a variety of reasons, including:

  • Which keywords should be focussed on for the site SEO
  • Which keywords actually are searched for vs those that bring no traffic
  • What size is the potential market online for your product/service
  • Is there enough traffic/demand for your product/service to make it worthwhile pursuing

At the end of the day, it’s a total waste of your money and time to build and SEO a website for keywords that are not popular and/or not searched for at all.

Every single client and prospective client we’ve ever spoken to at WCR has (in their head) a selection of keywords that THEY think are relevent and important to their website, but it’s quite common to find out with a little research that one or more of those keywords actually gets little or no searches for it, indicating it’s not a popular search term.

In the online marketing game, keywords are everything. After all, how would you search ANY sort of database for information, whether Google, Yahoo, MSN or some no-name directory site, if you couldn’t use descriptive words – keywords – to find what you’re looking for.

Hence, whether you’re building a new site or just trying to ravamp results for an established site, the keywords you choose to focus on can make or break your online business.

Our Free Keyword Traffic Estimator Report (only available to qualified website owners) gives you the chance to see whether the top 5 keywords you think are relevent to your site actually get any searches on Google.

In addition to showing you traffic estimates for your 5 preferred keywords, our report will also list a range of similar words (or synonyms) that should help broaden your spectrum of targettable keywords. The number of alternate suggested keywords (and their traffic levels) will vary from 0 – 100 or more additional keywords, depending on the popularity of the initial “seed” keywords.

With this report (provided in Excel format), you can get a clearer idea of how popular your target keyword terms are, and also find related terms that may even be better than the initial 5 you submitted. Alternatively, at least they’ll give you some additional terms to consider when discussing your SEO project with us.

As you can see from the above example report, there are multiple ways that people search for specific products or services. Here, when searching for ‘accountants perth’ we found a much larger list of related terms that may or may not be relevent to an Accountant client targetting the Perth market.

We know which keywords are more popular than others, but we also know all the different variations searchers may be using to find our client’s site. By the way, the Search Volume column is a monthly figure, averaged across the last 12 months.

Therefore, if our client were eventually able to rank top 10 (preferrably #1-3) for ‘accountants perth’, their listing will show up in a Google search as many as 10,560 in a year (880/month x 12).

If you advertise for your business to bring in new clients, how many times does your advert get seen by a QUALIFIED prospect per month/year? By qualified, I mean that anyone searching for ‘accountants perth’ is obviously interested in the subject for some specific reason, rather than having just randomly seen your listing and decided to click on it because they were bored.

Most Yellow Pages ads would be lucky to get reviewed/read by a qualified prospect 880 times a YEAR, let alone a month! Hence, high rankings for that keywords are worth pursuing.

However, you wouldn’t know which keywords to pursue without knowing roughly how many searches are made for it in a month, which is why this Free report has a lot of value to a website owner.

If you’d like to request a FREE keyword traffic estimator report from us, you must be a business owner or manager based in Australia, and preferrably have an established website that this data will be relevent to.
